surf tours

We will be running surf tours starting this oct up to pandan,staying for two to three days.Tour around our island in a classic kombi van.Pandan is approx 4 hours from the capital virac,and we will be staying in homestays in pandan.We will travel to yog's point,baldoc,tabugoc cove.All meals will be included,fresh produce from the local markets.Groups of no more than 4 people.If you like you can bring your own tents and we can camp out.We can pick up in virac,airport,pier,or san andres,depending which way you might travel.For the more adventurous,there are small bancas travelling from tobacco pier to tubli in caramoran,where we can also pick you up from.Please contact us for more info if you are interested,in one of these tours.We also can travel around the coast heading back to virac,passing puraran.

The tours dates for the 2006 catanduanes governors cup are set at october 18-21 at puraran catanduanes.

Surf Statistics

There are approx 15 to 20 typhoons a year which hit catanduanes providing 3 to 8 foot with peak swells hitting 12 foot. The best month of the year seems to be july to oct when swells are driven by by offshore south west winds.Nov the wind changes to a on shore north east but still brings a lot of swell action.
